Well if it’s any consolation he did the deed with her. Before she left him for 2 years that is. If she’s dead I wish he had died with her. If she’s alive then she’s just another b for the streets for leaving him the way she did. Again.

Wow that was dogshit ending. Its not like the series wasn’t a dumpster fire in the first place. But bro didn’t even try to give a proper ending. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

You know what, it’s not that bad of an ending. Everyone in that friend group were afraid of sharing information that’d change the status quo.
Takt couldn’t admit to be romantically interested in Riku, Shizuku didn’t want him to know she was terminal to the end, and Riku is a coward to find out where they went.
Shizuku got Umimi to stay with Riku so he doesn’t end up alone, and Yako is close enough to get in Riku’s bed.
Do I wish it was better? For sure, especially since I’ve been following this series since the first chapter dropped. I hope we get closure on Takt and Shizuku in the bonus chapter.

totally agree. honestly could’ve seen an ending like this coming having read similar manga, but i’m still hoping for some better closure with the bonus. don’t really understand the hate this series has gotten though.

Radeon, a huge thanks for scanlating this series from the start to the end despite that lackluster ending that didn’t even give closure for the readers.
Looking forward for the 8th volume extra chapter. Cheers!
idklol
I hope Takt is living his best life in Ni-Chome with a cute twink boyfriend that looks nothing like Riku.
Fr though what a weak ending, have the courage to kill Shizuku off, Riku attends her funeral in a daze and then do your time skip with him recovering with support from Umimi. it would have made his decision to move on much more impactful.
thanks for translating, it was a fun journey even if the view wasn’t worth it in the end!

This series was a big pile of dog shit compared to Bad Girls and I’m glad it’s all over.

Wait what? The author for this manga is the same person who made Bad Girls? Holy shit. I enjoyed it so much when I watched it for the first time. I guess the mangaka is talented enough to give us peak entertainment and peak emptiness ^^ at the same time.

Damn, author didn’t even bother answering the big question concerning Shizuku when they’ve been stringing us along for the entire series. I mean, I suppose it’s implied she’s dead, but the fact that they didn’t want to outright tell us even at the end leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Thanks to RDscans for translating all of this despite everything though. Also still curious about the epilogue chapter lol.
Arma
… Are we for real right now? With the dumpster fire this has been the least we could have gotten was a solid no-bullshit ending that tied off all the strings created. Not this final panel of “Ooh, but also…! >:)”

It’s funny how ass the story and yet the author refused to give it a proper ending, and not an open-ended one. It makes more ass than it should be.

This ending including the special chapter is kinda open-ended. The one calling could be the gay Takt, could be Shizuku who miraculously survived what ever she was ill with, or her mom/someone else who got her “last will” to contact MC and tell him something – that Shizuku is dead for example and that she was sorry for disappearing like that or something.
So it can be either an ending where we know nothing about Shizuku still, and Takt calls to tell MC his truth/how he is going, or it could be the ending where Shizuku is 100% dead – both of those have MC surrounded with best girl Yako and perverted masturbator Umimi, so he probably fine and still could have best variant of sad ending – with Shizuku dead and MC ending up with Yako :), or good variant ending with Umimi, or bad ending where Takt is still pinning after him cause he now not scared to be openly gay, etc.
Or it could be non-sad variant where Shizuku survived – with either meh/good/best ending types – aka either Shizuku wanna continue the relationship cause she survived and Umimi/Yako got pushed to side lines (the meh), or Shizuku understands that she fucked up, that MC in those few years could have started loving someone else, and she is just calling as a friend to give him info that she is alive/say her side of truth, in which ending MC like in above paragraph ends with either Umimi (the good) or Yako (the best) and Shizuku/Takt stay connected with him as friends.
